What's cooking at TPG?
A peek behind the curtain from our last meetup this Tuesday.
Hey product folks! 👋
We recently got together to chat about where TPG is heading, and I thought you might want to know what we're cooking up.
So what's new?
First off, you might have heard that the Refresh conference is taking a break(maybe indefinitely). While that's a bummer, we see it as a chance to try something new. We're not trying to replace Refresh (I mean, who are we kidding?!), but we do want to keep the product community buzzing.
Here's what we're thinking:
There’s an idea to run "The Business Value Game". When we have more details on it, we’ll let you know!
We're also thinking of a proper workshop day - a “Tallinn Product Group Conference” if you can say it like that. Think practical stuff - the kind of things you can actually use at work the next day. Research methods, premortem workshop, that sort of thing. Nothing's set in stone yet, but we're aiming for a half-day format with a mix of workshops and talks in H1.
Content-wise...
We have discussed if we should do a shift towards shorter videos and bite-sized content. What is your take? Would you want to have shorter content or longer - those 1-1.5h episodes?
We've got some new podcasts & writings in the pipeline, some are in editing and many are scheduled for recording.
But we have a small ask from you…

We will be bringing more transparency at the start of April. We are turning ONE in April and will be doing a thorough retrospective of the first year.
One last thing to the one more thing…
Please understand that Tallinn product group is not ours who are contributing today, it’s ours who want to be active in the product community. This means that even though we have kickstarted it today, the dream is that this non-profit will be a place where quality product related content will be delivered weekly for years to come.
