I found the discussion about giving and receiving feedback very engaging.

I've heard the opinion that giving feedback says more about the person providing it than about the recipient, and that negative feedback shouldn't be given at all. I believe this is not true, as feedback is essentially a great opportunity to highlight things that one might not notice on their own. I enjoy receiving feedback because it is one of the tools for faster personal growth. It is important, as a recipient, to put the feedback into context and then decide what to change based on it and what not to. Sometimes, in relationships, it can be very helpful to explain why I act in a certain way and to delve deeper into the discussion that arises from the feedback. Usually, such discussions lead to better relationships and mutual understanding.
